What to expect when working with Jules

Before Your Session

  • Start by filling out my contact form to get the process rolling

  • Secure your spot with a 50% non-refundable deposit

  • Sign the contract to confirm your session

  • Fill out a quick questionnaire to share your vision, style, and preferences

  • I’ll create a personalized mood board with outfit ideas and pose inspiration

During Your Session

  • Enjoy a mix of guided poses and natural, candid moments

  • I bring patience and positivity, especially when working with families or little ones

After Your Session

  • Each photo is carefully edited with attention to detail

  • Receive your full gallery of high-resolution images within 2-3 weeks! Be sure to download your images as the online gallery is temporary. (Don’t worry, I still have your images backed up!)

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% the total amount is due to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than the day of your session. Jules Pilkus Photography accepts most credit or debit cards, Venmo, or checks.

  • Heck yes! I am happy to travel, and frequently make trips to the Jersey Shore over the Summer for portrait sessions. Please note there is an additional travel fee for locations 45+ minutes away from Broomall, PA

  • For most portrait sessions, you will receive your fully edited gallery within 2-3 weeks of your session. Weddings and larger events start at 4-6 weeks.

    If needed, an expedited turnaround can be granted for an additional fee.

  • Yes and No. Because I value authenticity, I am not able to make certain edits. I am happy to remove pimples/blemishes, whiten teeth, and remove an exit sign from the back of your photo, but I do not alter your body in any way. My goal is to make you look like your best self by enhancing your own intrinsic beauty.

  • Yes! You can order a variety of prints and products including albums, canvases, metal prints and more. They are high quality products for a reasonable price. Reach out for pricing and more info.
